How NetPix works

Share your best netball photo, get votes, climb the leaderboard and help kit out players who need it. Here's the whole thing in a few steps.

1. Sign up and activate

   Create a free account with a username, email and password. We'll email you an activation link – tap it within 24 hours and you're in. Every new member starts with 20 free votes.

2. Upload your Star Photo

   Entering is free. Tap Upload and pick your photo (JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB). Each month's competition has fun categories such as Best Action Shot and Funniest Midcourt Blooper. You can upload one photo per week, and the Upload screen shows when you can add your next one.

   Photos are checked by our team, so please read the Photo Guidelines first.

3. Vote for your favourites

   See a photo you love? Tap Tap to Vote, choose how many votes to give, done. You can vote on as many photos as you like, and the more you give, the better the value:

   Want a specific number? Choose an exact number of votes and we'll show you the price before you pay.

   Your 20 free votes are ready to use as soon as you sign up, and bought votes never expire.

4. Top up when you need more

   Run out? No problem – you can still tap any vote option and we'll take you straight to a top-up (up to R500 at a time). Payments are handled securely by Paystack, and your balance updates straight away.

   Changed your mind? Credits you haven't used can be refunded within 7 days of buying them. See the FAQ for how.

5. Gift votes to a friend

   Want to back someone else? You can gift votes to any NetPix member. Gifts start at R2 for 1 vote.

6. Watch the leaderboard

   Photos are ranked by votes, with the most-voted photo at #1. Each photo shows its current position and vote count, and the order updates as votes come in. Use the search box to find photos from a particular member, and tap any photo to see it full size.

   Some months may include elimination rounds, with a Top 50 leaderboard shown once the first round is done. The full rules are in our Terms and Conditions.

7. Win, and help others win

   At the end of each month the top two photos win cash and a photo shoot voucher, and winners are announced by the 7th of the next month. On top of that, NETPIX donates a share of each month's profits to underprivileged netball players and clubs for uniforms, shoes and equipment.
